| How curious it is to find that Apocrypha is littered with these nautilus fossil structures. The creature itself is common enough in the seas west of Tamriel, but nowhere near the size we're finding in Apocrypha. | I'll preface this by saying this is far beyond my area of expertise, but is it possible that Tamrielic nautili are stray visitors from Apocrypha? Perhaps the little ones are pulled into our plane by some primordial tide? | Considering these fossils also resemble curled up tentacles, I'll posit an even more terrifying thought. Could nautili be severed appendages made sentient? Silly, perhaps, but there's a flittering connection that should be explored further. | |||||
