The Abomination is a flesh atronach made out of Crestshade's citizens. It needs to be defeated in order to break the curse that's been placed on the town.

Quest-Related EventsEdit
Once you have gathered Mayor Gette, Mage Tharlas, and Jonne Surille's personal effects and brought them to the Chapel Crypts' altar, the trio will channel their energy to bring the Abomination forth:
- Tharlas: "Together, my friends … focus your energy …."
- Mayor Gette: "It's working! I can feel that … thing. It's coming! Get ready!"
The Abomination will appear in the corner of the room, from a pile of bones and rotting flesh. Once you have destroyed it, the Crestshade residents' spirits will be freed:
- Mayor Gette: "Praise the Eight and all their glory! You did it!"
