A bug may cause each bear that you kill to disappear at the moment of death, thus rendering it impossible to take the bear pelt from the dead bear.

This seems very uncommon and had to reason or solution that I could discernibly see. It also does not greatly impact the quest, with the availability of stocked pelts. --DKong27 ^{Tk Ctr Em} 23:00, 11 December 2011 (UTC)

Bug not mentioned on main pageEdit

I'm playing with the unofficial patch and no other mods. Get destruction to 70, start the quest, and then find Bralsa. But she's defaulted to not start her greeting until stage 20, so at stage 10 she just tells you to go away. Requires manually setting the stage in order to proceed. Have not tested beyond one character, but cursory googling confirms that this is something more players are having trouble with. To fix, open the console and type 'setstage trainingdestruction 20' to continue. --207.181.229.187 22:25, 13 July 2019 (UTC)

Looking at the patch notes for UOP, it seems like in version 3.5.0 [1] the following change was made which causes this bug:

Bralsa Andaren was meant to shoo the player away while she was hunting deer and her training quest had not advanced far enough.

Waiting until 1am when she's asleep allowed me to talk to her and proceed as usual. RockJB (talk) 12:55, 20 February 2021 (UTC)

Per the discussion on Bralsa Andaren's talk page, I have updated the wiki with the correct information so that it will not be necessary to use the console to proceed.

Additionally, I removed the sentence, "Just remember that she will only train you during service hours (11pm-7am)" from the Bugs section since I have added the correct time to approach her for training to Notes. Originally, the sentence had also had the incorrect time (7am-11pm), so once the information had been corrected, the sentence also became redundant since if you were approaching her at 1am, then of course you'd be approaching between 11pm-7am. keneticmotion (talk) 02:23, 16 August 2021 (UTC)
