Detailed WalkthroughEdit
Alberto has one final task for you - accompany him to Andalis' Tomb. He'll lead you there, so don't worry about getting lost. The tomb itself is pretty straightforward; follow the passages down until you come to the living statues. Alberto will be killed, and you'll be forced to take up the saber and destroy it. After that, you can continue on to the end, where you'll find Andalis' armor as well as its guardian, a gargoyle statue; once you defeat the statue, you can keep the armor and the saber.
Journal EntriesEdit

Stage | Finishes Quest | Journal Entry |
10 | Alberto says that the Big Day is not far off, and he's only missing one final proof. What exactly that means, I cannot say. He wants me to follow him.
30 | Alberto wants to break into Andalis' tomb with me. It seems as though he had the key in his possession a long time ago, but never found it necessary to enter the tomb. He wants to share the solution to this riddle with me when we stand before the tomb. So, on to Andalis!
60 | Alberto has told me what's going on. Allegedly, there are dangers in the tomb that only the sword's bearer can overcome. I should lead, but he will take the lead at the first sign of danger. I'll think about the history of Andalis' Men later; that was a lot of information to take in at one time.
70 | Alberto is now taking the lead. He gave me a few scrolls that will help me to heal him when needed. So I shouldn't stand around pointlessly, he says.
80 | Alberto is dead. A living statue has struck him down. He had no chance to react. I should take the sword from his hands as soon as possible and defend myself against the statue.
90 | The statue has fallen to the ground. All life seems to be gone from it. Now I can look at the tomb more closely.
100 | I've found Great Andalis' armor. |
- Notes
- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in random order.
- If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
- It is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering
setstage ODDAss26Armor stage
, wherestage
is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages. See SetStage for more information.
