WalkthroughEdit

Alberto has a new job for you. This time, it's tomb-raiding - specifically, the one belonging to King Alan. He has a key, and he wants you to go there and loot the place. The tomb isn't very big and doesn't have much of interest in it, beyond a spider mummy that has an old chalice. Alberto's willing to give you 300 gold for it - quite a deal, considering it doesn't look like much.

Journal EntriesEdit

The Old Treasure (ODDAss23Grab)
Stage Finishes Quest Journal Entry
10 Surely Alberto has a new job for me. My pockets are getting empty, but with his help, that will hopefully change soon.
20 Alberto told me of the old tombs that lie in the northwest of the castle. One of them is said to belong to King Alan, after whom the Mash Alan was named. Alberto says that there is a secret passage there leading to a hidden treasure chamber. He gave me the key to the chamber and told me to take everything I can find there.
30 I found a scroll, which talks about a group of adventurers that was imprisoned here. They probably witnessed some horrible events, but the parchment is very old - I couldn't decipher it.
40 I killed the Butcher. She was probably also the one who was responsible for the fate of the group of adventurers.
50 These spider mummies only had a strange chalice. However, such a treasure is unique to the area. Maybe Alberto will be interested in the thing. I should show it to him.
60 Alberto seemed not to care about the creatures that lived in the tomb to which he sent me. On the other hand, he harbored great interest in the inconspicuous chalice. He wants to examine it first. I will come back tomorrow; until then he will probably appreciate the chalice's worth. So, I can't imagine that I'll get a lot, especially not from Alberto.
70 Alberto should eventually be done investigating the chalice.
100 Finishes quest  Alberto gave me 300 gold coins for the chalice. Quite a lot for such an old thing. He didn't even give me a chance to bargain with him.
Notes
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in random order.
  • If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
  •   It is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering setstage ODDAss23Grab stage, where stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages. See SetStage for more information.
