Morrowind talk:Spear Trainers

House RedoranEdit

Not sure where (or if) to post it, but I think it's very interesting that House Redoran doesn't have a trainer for spears - and that although spear is one of their favourite skills. -92.226.214.43 22:54, 11 August 2008 (EDT)

Not really much point. The fact that there's only two trainers for Spear in the entire game and that neither of them belongs to any faction just means that House Redoran is exactly the same as everyone else in that respect. I'm more surprised that neither of the trainers is an Argonian, but again, not really notable. --TheRealLurlock Talk 02:02, 12 August 2008 (EDT)
One of them does belong to the Fighters' Guild. Also I find it notable as well that- as you mentioned(I didn't think about it)- there isn't an Argonian trainer for spear given that they are supposed to be good at it; or a Nord for that matter. -78.51.81.178 14:39, 19 August 2008 (EDT)
Again, the only real notable fact here is that there are only two Spear trainers. Everything else is just an extension of that. There's only two, so you can say that there are no Breton trainers, no Redguard trainers, no [pick-any-race-but-Imperial-and-Dunmer] trainers, and no [pick-any-faction-except-Fighters-Guild] trainers, and no [pick-any-class-but-Crusader-and-Drillmaster], but those facts are not notable since they are merely extensions of the fact that there are only two of them, period, and it's impossible to be more than one race, class, or faction (at least for an NPC in Morrowind - Oblivion allows multiple factions, and the player can of course join as many as they want, but that's neither here nor there.) As for adding a note about there being only two - it's not really necessary, because you can pretty much tell that just by, you know, counting to two. It's mentioned on the pages of both the trainers, which I think is enough. --TheRealLurlock Talk 15:28, 19 August 2008 (EDT)
