The Precursor was a Bosmer prophet who became active during the late Third Era.[1] The Precursor preached that the old Forest God Y'ffre was returning with new gifts for his people.[1] His rise was concurrent with other impactful Valenwood events, the first ever complete rooting of the walking tree city Falinesti, and the first Wild Hunt in several centuries, although it was unknown if these were unrelated or all a sign of a large shift to come for the Bosmer people.[1]
