Scene opens with Mehrunes Dagon looming over a ruined fort and countless corpses. After the Gates of Oblivion title screen, it shows an area within the Red Petal Bastion. An unknown woman narrates the trailer:
- Woman: "These damn acolytes. Followers of Mehrunes Dagon, they never stop."
- Woman: "The Order of the Waking Flame is searching for something, dangerous relics of the past. Now they descend into forgotten reaches of Tamriel, to scheme and unlock power."
- Woman: "And my home, in the dark reaches of Oblivion, is under threat from the Prince of Destruction."
- Woman: "Disaster is coming. And we need all the help we can get."
The closing scene shows the group of adventurers overlooking the city of Fargrave in Oblivion.
