Usefulness of this imageEdit

This is a pretty impressive image. However, I don't know if it's useful or accurate. Should it be used, deleted, or just left alone? --Xyzzy 08:05, 2 June 2012 (UTC)

I personally think the text on it is too small to be of any actual use - its been replaced by the interactive map. I think prod it myself, but i'm unsure. --kiz talkemail 13:06, 2 June 2012 (UTC)
I think it's of use to people who aren't online a lot. I added a note about it on the oblivion page. Of course if there is a bigger picture with all the map markers then it is unneeded. The Silencer has spokenTalk 13:11, 2 June 2012 (UTC)
You mean - sort like this one? I don't see the need for it, or why it functions better than the interactive map. --kiz talkemail 13:12, 2 June 2012 (UTC)
I'd have to agree with The Silencer here. That interactive map doesn't even load on an IPod, let alone work - the other one is much more readable. Kitkat TalkContribE-mail 13:17, 2 June 2012 (UTC)
It's just too cool an image not to be used somewhere. I went ahead and added it to Oblivion:Cyrodiil, where it may be useful to someone. --Xyzzy 05:31, 4 June 2012 (UTC)

Weird landmark icons all over the map.Edit

What's with all the random landmark markers on the map? That shouldn't be there. Someone should fix this, because people tend to print this map and mark by hand all the locations they have cleared. --79.101.141.197 17:22, 7 May 2014 (GMT)Nik

Random landmark markers are various types of large 'prayer' stones that give you benefits if you click on them (providing new magic, fortifying attributes, binding weapons/armor, those types of stones). -- AB — Unsigned comment by 74.129.134.195 (talk) at 17:03 on 1 September 2014 (GMT)

Problems in the MapEdit

Stuff from at least one of the plug-ins are in it, but it's missing Garlas Malatar to the left of Crowhaven, Priory of the Nine in the first W of "The West Weald", and Fort Bulwark which is near the D in "Blackwood" which is E of Leyawiin. It has smuggler's cave which is from smuggler's den DLC. If someone could add all of the areas from all the DLC (and maybe recolor those from various DLC, like blue for smuggler's den DLC locations, yellow for another, pink for another, etc) that way people didn't go looking around to have all places unlocked only to find that X Y or Z doesn't exist because they don't have the DLC. Some might ask, who cares, but searching around for this crap takes time, and loads things, leading towards the A-bomb, especially on the X360 and PS3 since we don't have the luck of having a fix for this crap. --AB — Unsigned comment by 74.129.134.195 (talk) at 17:11 on 1 September 2014 (GMT)

There's also missing names for some of the locations. 1. there's a fort and a cave to the NW of Imperial City, at the top edge of Imperial City on the NW if you cross you'll see Fort Empire on the map, directly above and below the words "Fort Empire" is an unnamed cave (south of it) and unnamed fort (north of it). The fort's name is Fort Coldcorn, the cave's name is Yellow Tick Cave. 2. There's another cave, to the E of Imperial City. If you follow the word "Arena" out to the East, there's a cave there called Wellspring Cave (right above Fort Magia), near the end of the word Cave (just above it) is an unmarked ruin. The ruin is called Nagastani. 3. Between Imperial City and Cheydenhal there's "The Black Road", above the T in The is an unnamed ruin. It's called Belda. 4. To the right of "Desolate Mines" which is just S of Lake Arrius (above Cheydenhal) is an unnamed camp and cave. They are Wind Range Camp & Quickwater Cave. 5. SE of Imperial City, slightly SW of Cropsford is an unnamed ruin. It's name is Culotte. 6. There's an unnamed cave & fort between Leyawiin and Cheydenhal (closer to Cheydenhal). Find Imperial Bridge Inn, above it near a small body of water is the unnamed cave, it's name is Sage Glen Hollow. To the W of Sage Glen Hallow near the bay is the unnamed fort, it's a little SW of the C in "Cerbele", it's called Fort Aurus. 7. To the E of Atatar is an unnamed cave, above the D in "The Drunken Dragon Inn". The cave is called Haunted Mine. They should be named to keep cohesion with the rest of the map, after all everything else is named save for the stones. --AB — Unsigned comment by 74.129.134.195 (talk) at 17:58 on 1 September 2014 (GMT)
Two places so far have their names mixed up: Robber's Glen Cave & Pothole Caverns, they are S of Imperial City. When you see Inn of Ill Omens, one is directly under the words of it, and the other is under that one's words. They're simply mixed up. --AB — Unsigned comment by 74.129.134.195 (talk) at 18:20 on 1 September 2014 (GMT)
Under the V of Bravil is a place called Vawnwatch Camp, it's misnamed, it should be named Bawnwatch Camp. --AB — Unsigned comment by 74.129.134.195 (talk) at 18:20 on 1 September 2014 (GMT)
