Quick WalkthroughEdit
- Travel down the main road to Bruma.
Detailed WalkthroughEdit
Onwards to BrumaEdit
As soon as you have crossed the border, whether that is through the Skyrim Border Gate or the Serpent's Trail, you will receive an objective to visit the city of Bruma.
From the border gate, make your way down the Silver Road, passing Fort Pale Pass, Snowstone Rest and the Serpent's Trail. From here, press on past The Sentinel and Dragonclaw Rock, crossing the river and making your way up to the Eastern Watchtower. Keep following the road until you reach Bruma's eastern gate.
Along the way you will encounter a number of enemies, alongside the usual wolves. A few turns before the Sentinel, you will arrive at the site of an ambush by the criminal gang Thorina's Cutters: a wagon with a strongbox lies overturned and its two owners murdered. The two Cutters themselves won't hesitate to attack. After this you will come across a bridge over a small canyon: jump down and pick you way through animal bones until you find a stone bowl containing 40 gold coins, two topaz and a jade.
Just past Dragonclaw Point, you will encounter a bandit archer; dispatch him and follow the path to the left of the road to his camp. Here you will find a cooking spit, some drinks and another bandit, who is carrying a treasure map. Backtrack to just below The Sentinel for a treasure chest. At the crossroads below the Eastern Watchtower, you will likely chance upon a world interaction.
NotesEdit
- An alternative and faster route is to turn southwest at The Sentinel onto a dirt track and follow it south. This eventually brings you to the large frozen lake north of Bruma. From here press on south to the Bruma Stables and then to the eastern gate.

- Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g.,
<Alias=LocationHold>
) is dynamically set by the Radiant Quest system, and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game. - Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
- If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
- On the PC, it is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering
setstage CYRBrumaFF00 stage
, wherestage
is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages, but it is possible to clear all stages of the quest usingresetquest CYRBrumaFF00
.
