Arlus is a Breton pirate, a crewmember on the ship The Shady Serpent, which is anchored offshore in Anvil Bay.
He sleeps from midnight to 6am, then rises and goes about his duties for the rest of the day. During the Rangers Guild quest A Growing Guild Expands, he tries to defend his ship from destruction. It is not possible to meet Arlus at any other time.
Arlus wears a belted vest, coarse linen pants, and leather boots; he carries a levelled amount of gold and some random potions, and is armed with a steel cutlass.
