The Gilded Duckling

The Gilded Duckling is a pleasure yacht currently moored in the Bravil Docks. Its owner, Duke Agrivaine, is an Altmer noble from Summerset Isle. He has come to Cyrodiil with his wife, Duchess Giselle, and Lord Kildred and Lady Trivelda to tour various cities.

The Duckling is every inch a noble's ship. The captain's cabin has been converted to a posh dining room and salon; the anteroom holds a table where guests can sit and chat or play cards; the upper room holds a large dining table set with silver cutlery and dishes.

The mid deck contains the nobles' living quarters. As with the captain's cabin, everything is heavily decorated with rugs on the floors, tapestries on the walls, and fine furnishings everywhere. The fore cabin (called the Naval Room) is currently occupied by Lord Kildred and Lady Trivelda; it has a king-sized bed, dresser, and small table and is decorated in shades of dark blue. A carpet-lined passage leads to the aft cabin (the Duke's Room), which is occupied by the duke and duchess; it too has a large bed, a larger table, a nightstand, and an adjacent powder room for the duchess, and the tapestries and rugs here are sea blue and brown. A single-occupancy room (the Gold Room) along the passage holds a twin bed, a cupboard, and two small tables; this room is done up in shades of gold and brown, the duke's colors.

The lower deck is where the servants and guards are quartered. This deck is purely functional and split into two parts: the bow holds the galley, while aft of the ladder to the mid deck is strictly bunks, with a bench at the end.
