Login ProblemsEdit

Hi! I noticed the message on your user page about having problems with staying logged in. You may want to double-check that you have cookies enabled in your browser. Some articles with more details include:

One other possibility is that you're using a satellite ISP such as HughesNet/DirecWAY. Those ISPs are known to cache web pages in a way that makes it impossible to login to wikis. The fact that you've been able to make some edits as Ketchup Soup makes me think that's not the problem, but if it is, there unfortunately is not much that can be done (see User talk:Chaos Monkey for everything that one editor tried...).

Good luck fixing the problem. Feel free to ask if you have any questions. --NepheleTalk 15:49, 1 November 2007 (EDT)

Fixed it!Edit

Well, twiddling with Firefox, I figured out that if I tell it to remember my password, I'll stay logged in pretty much forever. But if I turn off password management (which is how I had it set before), there's som ekind of timeout involved, meaning after x minutes/hours/whatever, I get logged out. So it's all or nothing. Since I don't have to share this machine, it's no big deal to leave the password manager turned on. --Ketchup SoupTalk 18:11, 1 November 2007 (CDT)

Ah, and I almost forgot to say thanks for the suggestions, you guys are really on the ball!
