My Linux MachineEdit

My main Linux machine is a Thinkpad T420, sadly not Librebooted (maybe one day!). Hoping to give it a new screen, but with its strange size its hard finding one. I am running a frankenstein of Debian Stretch and Testing because I put in the testing branch repo, just for ONE package (in hindsight it was a bad idea, I don't even remember which package I so desperately needed). I used to be just running i3 gaps with Compton, Polybar, and urxvt, but recently switched to XFCE as i3 can be cumbersome sometimes, especially with Wine (yes I know Wine exists, but a more windows-like enviroment should be used with Wine). For maximum comfy and shitposting on /wg/, I gave XFCE a nice tuneup with Chicago95, (I know, ironic), despite not using Windows 95 in my life. I changed up some icons such as urxvt to cmd, Firefox to Web Browser, and Discord to AIM. To see my complete Neofetch, click on the screenshot to the right.

Free SoftwareEdit

I am not a Richard Stallman Zealot for the Free Software Movement (though I have talked to him, and while a nice guy, he takes free software and his privacy to the extreme. Email him and you will know what i'm talking about.) but I do support the movement and hope to see the world start to use it more in the future (though I doubt it). I don't use free software exclusively, infact I don't use much of it at all, as what I do requires so much non-free software. The free software I do use a lot is GIMP, MIT-Scheme, Firefox, Blender, GCC and Clang, KeePass, VLC and mpv, FFmpeg (actually Partly, my discord bot, uses it to play music) Wireshark, FileZilla, Atom Editor, Notepad++, and sometimes Space Station 13. All of my software on my github (https://github.com/SIX10) is free and open source (duh) with MIT licences, except Partly, which is under MIT. so IDC what you do with it.
