I'm declaring Kitkat1749 and Nocte Canticum to be my |
We are talking about a non-existent concept for a mod, if anyone asks. There is no download link, and the mod won't be available for some time (if at all), because I would have to familiarize myself with the Construction Set better, and a mod of such large scale would take some time to do.
This page will be updated as I think of ideas, and when the mod is complete, I will decide a more permanent home for the information where I can make a detailed guide of it. The only things set in stone to happen are traveling to Dagoth Ur with corprus to join him, a fight against Vivec and MAYBE Almalexia, and curing yourself of the disease through Cosade's quest to continue the "light" side.
PremiseEdit
You're always the "hero" in The Elder Scrolls. Well, what if you don't want to be the hero? What if you have a vile, scumbag of a hero who strives to be evil? Well, you would be screwed. If you perform the Main Quest, you have to become the Nerevarine and defeat Dagoth Ur. My mod would add an alternate ending to the game where you would accept Dagoth Ur's offer to join him.
Main Quest possibilitiesEdit
All quests mentioned here are concepts that may or may not make it into the final version. These are not in order either, as they are vague concepts listed as I come up with them.
- Travel to Red Mountain to submit to the Sixth House (this one isn't a possiblity, exactly. It's a given to progress obviously.)
- Assaulting Imperial Forts with corprus beasts to weaken the influence the Imperial Legion has over the region.
- Spreading an item such as corprus meat around to certain locations to spread the disease.
- The inevitable fight against Vivec. (Perhaps Almalexia as well? It's going to be dependent on GotY anyways)
- Preaching to the people to damage their relationship towards the Tribunal and Legion
- (Optional?) Chance to defeat Dagoth Ur after all is said and done for control of the Sixth House
- Assassinate known Blades in Vvardenfell. (May possibly add a few other, stronger Blades warriors who would be unknown to the player until the information is given after torture.
Misc Quest possibilitiesEdit
- (Optional) Traveling to Tel Fyr yourself to lift your corprus early would terminate your relation to the Sixth House, as having the disease is a main centerpoint for the story.
Long-term Effects on GameplayEdit
Again, these are only concepts and may or may not be implemented.
- The skies being red and blight storms in areas taken by the Sixth House.
- As Imperial and Tribunal Influence is weakened, Sixth House Guards would take over patrolling the cities.
- The small pockets of Legion and Ordinator resistance would be hostle and attack the PC on sight.
- Chapels would be converted for Sixth House priests.
- Quests from the "good" deities like Azura would be blocked for the Player.
- Corprus contracted from Dagoth Gares stays with you throughout the questline, until a point where Dagoth Ur decides you are loyal enough to have the burden lifted from you.
- The Imperial Cult, Imperial Legion, and Tribunal Temple will (obviously) deny entrance to you if you become a Sixth House agent.
