After a couple of years of using this awesome resource to help me through the ups and downs of Skyrim, I have decided to join and maybe contribute a little. My main character is a Argonian assassin-type build, lvl71 at the time of this writing. I am role-playing a good guy, who sometimes has to use 'deep cover' to achieve his goals (i.e. joining the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild in order to influence/manipulate them from the inside to lessen their negative impact on the world). Definitely a end-justifies-the-means kind of character. I'm also about 1/3 of the way through outfitting every NPC with enchanted, smithed gear via pickpocket. It is rewarding to watch a Kajiit caravan use their new bows to take out a dragon on their own.
Another focus with this and other characters has been documenting safe storage--in hopes that others will never know my disbelief and anger when my first character lost all of his horde to a respawning container. I've placed a carrot in every container in every location that I have visited so far, with 2 different characters on 2 different xbox360s. OCD...maybe.
Finally, and related to my 'quest' to arm all of Skyrim, I have been tracking down all of the hunters that I can find, and identifying NPCs from World Interactions or Random Encounters who either don't despawn/respawn, or are treated like M'aiq--I armed him (not that he'll use it, but at least he uses his torch at night), and he keeps his gear when he 'despawns'.
I'm not experienced at editing, and will probably just lurk in the discussion pages for a while, but I have found almost as much value there as I have on the main pages. So many thanks to all that have built this wiki.
