Games I Like to Waste My Time WithEdit

  • Skyrim
  • Oblivion
  • Morrowind
  • Fallout 3
  • Fallout New Vegas
  • Arkham Asylum
  • all things Sims
  • Spore
  • the universe to be known as the new "Star Wars"

How I Spend My DaysEdit

  • I have worked as a graphic design, web design, and scripting language professor, and Adobe Live Workshops moderator for a few colleges with online depts for too many years now. I am also a student going after my second Master's degree in Web Design; and I love teaching! (Though I miss sleeping.) But going to work in my pjs with a pitcher of coffee makes up for it. :p Plus I have too many tatts in unconventional places to ever set foot in a typical classroom - they just make me queezy.
  • I play most of Bethesda's games: Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout 3, and Fallout New Vegas, and create mods for these (when I can find the time).
  • I got into helping out with the wiki when I had one too many four hour stretches of dungeon delving that could have been seriously shortened, and much more enjoyable, had the details on certain pages of the wiki been more correct. As a teacher, I just HAD to correct them.

Skyrim CharactersEdit

  • I know some tend to talk about their characters and such, so currently (as if you cared), I have three characters on both pc and Xbox, the most abused is a lvl 60 Imperial vampire, thief, Dark Brotherhood noob named Phoenix - Thane of two cities, not welcome in three more. I'll add more when I can find time.

NotesEdit

Pretend this area doesn't exist if you'd like - I just needed a place to paste at 4am. :o

TCL:

  • On the PC you can also use the console cheat tcl (toggle collision) which allows you to "fly" using the same controls used for walking. Saving the game first is highly recommended because cheats can cause the game to freeze or crash. Press the tilde (~) key to open the console, and when it opens type tcl without the quotes, then hit "enter", and use ~ to close the console. Make sure that nothing is clicked on when you type in the code, or it will not work. The tcl cheat will remain on until you enter the console again and turn it off by repeating these steps. Keep in mind, all NPCs and creatures will also be affected by this.

Kagrenzel:

  • The large cavern beneath the ruin may be accessed via Stony Creek Cave, but then the room with the glowing orb is only accessable by using the "tcl" (toggle collision) console cheat (on pc only) if you enter from this direction. The "tcl" cheat may be used to allow you to "fly" straight up into the room with the glowing orb via a large hole in the ceiling that goes up through multiple levels. Press the tilde (~) key to open the console, then type "tcl" without quotes and hit "enter"; use ~ to close console. The tcl cheat will remain on until you enter the console and repeat these steps to turn it off.
  • If you have a follower, they may enter Kagrenzel with you from this direction, and then disappear and not return. If you use the cheat, the follower will most likely not go with you.

Blackreach:

  • If you use the console cheat "player.additem (attunement sphere id here) 1" to add the Attunement Sphere to the inventory, instead of getting it as a quest item, Blackreach will respawn all ingredients (including crimson nirnroot), chests, monsters, etc. when you enter Blackreach via a different entrance than used before. However, items located inside will not respawn, for example items inside of the "War Quarters".

How to Drop Books Stuck in Inventory (got book before quest):

  • If you find the book before activating the quest, you will be stuck with it. The quest will point to the chest, and the book won't be there, and can't be returned. Once this has happened, you will be stuck with any additional copies you pick up as well, even if you activate the quest before getting a second copy. This can be set manually via console commands setstage MGR20 20 or setstage MGR20B 20. If neither of those solutions work, if you already have a copy and then start the quest, you can use the console commands to drop the book. For example player.drop 0001AD0C 1 will drop your copy of "Souls, Black and White" if you have one, which you can then pick up, and that will trigger the next stage of the quest as normal.

Dragons with NamesEdit

In the area of Sleeping Tree Camp, my character was attacked by a dragon with an actual name, a name that I have not been able to find on this site yet, so am adding it here. The name was Vuljotnuuk. I was there on a simple bounty, not a dragon quest at all. I had only just started the Greybeards training, and had not even gone to the Throat of the World yet. I had also started the Blades quests, completed as far as finishing the Thalmor party, and was lvl 64 at the time. Besides this, the dragon seemed to be stronger than most dragons, possibly stronger than the Ancient dragons. The loot dropped was typical of an Ancient dragon, and the soul was not different either. I have no idea why this one was named. Will update if I find out more.--Anathema 13:49, 17 May 2012 (UTC)

Found it today, thanks for your help Eshe. Dragon was Vuljotnaak--Anathema 23:05, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
