Pasting FrenzyEdit

Hey guys, I kinda went nuts and uh....pasted all these (Anutwyll-Niryastare). What I did was paste the provided data, copy any notes or question information on the old page into the section on the new page, and delete the rest of the old formatting. The only one I didn't touch was Bawn--it looked like somebody already did it (and did a nice job of it too).

If there's anything else I can do, please let me know! I'm a quick learner and I kind of have a lot of free time, plus I really love this editing jazz.

I was just trying to respond to you over on Oblivion Talk:Anutwyll, but this is probably a better place to chat :)
If you'd like to help out, that would be great! Given that it's a pretty new project, it's pretty hard to mess it up... we're all sort of making it up as we go :) From the first couple pages you've done, looks like you've figured things out without any trouble.
Random minor points:
  • You asked about the cleanup tag. It still needs to stay, because there is additional information that comes from walking through the dungeons (see walkthrough information for details).
  • Yep, Bawn already got done. I'm not doing a good job right now of keeping track of what has and hasn't been done ;)
  • You can delete the info from the Data page once you've pasted it (either one by one, or if you're doing the whole page, feel free to just wipe them all out at once)
There's always more, if you're looking for more to do :) On the pages you've posted, you could look over the details and see if there is anything that needs to be reworded/rearranged. Some of the pre-existing notes may now make more sense if moved elsewhere on the page (if the note is specifically about the third section of the dungeon, for example, it might make more sense on that section of the page). And some of your English Lit skills could probably be useful in places to smooth out some of the rough edges of the computer-genererated sentences ;) There's also the minor question of where to fit in Rpeh's new map key (Image:OB-Map-Key.png), if you feel like experimenting with where that works in the new layout.
Beyond that, you could also start exploring some of these dungeons and adding some of the walkthrough information, if that interests you. Or wait a day, and I'll refill the Data page with another 50 places that need to be cut-and-pasted! --NepheleTalk 18:11, 27 June 2007 (EDT)
There seems to be some sort of regularity with the map key. Rpeh has been putting it just beneath the heading of the "Exterior" section and that seems to be working well, so that's what I've been doing.
Other than that, I'm doing my best to remove notes that seem unnecessary or are already somewhere else on the page. My better judgement tells me that comments like "moderately good loot" should be left out, but I'm not sure if there's some sort of community consensus that says they should be included. --Eshe 17:03, 28 June 2007 (EDT)
Yep, that'll work for the map key, at least for now. In my grandiose long-term plans, there may eventually be an exterior map, as well, which would go in roughly that area. But if/when that happens, we can re-evaluate where the map key should go.
And I agree that "moderately good loot" comments should in general be deleted. Being able to get rid of comments like that has been one of the motivations behind this project (see Motivation, specifically "Details on Minor Treasure"), and nobody has voiced any objections so far.
Thanks for all the work you've been doing! --NepheleTalk 20:21, 28 June 2007 (EDT)

Oh geez, I can't believe I didn't pay any attention to the images...oops. I'll watch for them from now on. Hope I didn't cause too much trouble with that! --Eshe 23:53, 30 June 2007 (EDT)

Don't worry about it - it gave me an added incentive to get the maps done! --RpehTalk 11:04, 1 July 2007 (EDT)
Also, it's a tip that I only just added to the instructions in the last day or so, after realizing that it needed to be done. So it's not that you overlooked a step, it's that I had forgotten to add it before :) --NepheleTalk 14:55, 1 July 2007 (EDT)
