Winston, a Breton commoner, is a miner at Polle Gold Mine and was a friend of the now deceased Zeek. He's been depressed lately and wants you to help find peace in the Abandoned Miner quest. He will then send you a note asking for your help in dealing with a new discovery in the mine.
Winston wears breeches with a collared shirt. He also carries a pickaxe which he can often be seen mining with.
His sadness is palpable when first meeting him; he will greet you by saying, "I'm Winston. Life is hell." If his Disposition is high enough, when asked about his depression he will confess: "[Sigh] Alright, alright. If you must know, I've been rather upset. A month ago, we were trying to get through a natural cave wall in the mine. Everyone else decided that the 'Lizard' should do it. Zeek. There was a...cave-in. We never went back. I just wish I knew what happened to him." When asked about his friend he will say, "Zeekhas-Ei. I think. I don't know that I ever pronounced his name right. Probably why he wanted to be called Zeek."
