SummaryEdit

Use this template to sign comments on talk pages that haven't been signed by the author. If the same user repeatedly forgets to sign their comments, use the Sign message on their talk page to remind them to do so.

Parameter	Scope	Description
1	required	The name or IP address of the author.
2 or date	optional	The date (and time, if you wish) of the contribution. If you're adding the template on the same day and around the same time that the unsigned comment was left, you can use five tildes (~~~~~) for this parameter to have the wiki generate the date for you automatically. If a time is included, it should always be put first, before a comma (as is all standard in wiki date/time displays). Preferably, it should also be in UTC.
