The purpose of this template is to present links to external sites in a consistent fashion. It is based on the template of the same name from Wikipedia, but is greatly simplified and does not support as many options.
ParametersEdit
| Parameter | Scope | Description |
|---|---|---|
| url | Required | The full link to the article. |
| title | Optional | The name of the article being linked to. This should be supplied if at all possible. |
| author | Optional | The name of the author. This should be supplied if at all possible. |
| publisher | Optional | Name of the organization or website that created the article. |
| date | Optional | Date on which the article was written. |
| accessdate | Required | Date on which the article was last checked and determined to be correct. This value should be checked every few months to ensure external links are kept up to date. |
| archive-url | Optional | The link to an archive of the article. |
| archive-date | Optional | Date on which the article was archived. |
