When Nerevar and blessed Almsivi went forth to oppose the incorrigible Dwemer, the Houses and Tribes of Resdayn were united under the pennant of the Hortator. In memory of those days, let us put aside the vagaries of politics and celebrate the blessed alliance that was the First Council. Despite their differences, the True Houses stood united against the menace of Red Mountain, each strengthening the armies of Resdayn with its own talent:
