"speculation, that's lava": Reply
: The purpose of the wiki is to document information, not to invent it. This is a pretty core tenet of the project. —Legoless (talk) 13:54, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
:: Adding to what Legoless said, it's not up to any single user to decide whether unofficial lore or speculation is allowed; it's up to the wiki as an entire group. We've had many discussions around this before and the result has always been essentially the same: nothing unofficial belongs on the article. At the absolute most, something that seems likely but can't be proven would go in notes at the bottom of the page until it can be proven, but even then, there has to be some pretty strong evidence. In short, in the absence of evidence to the contrary, something that looks like lava should be assumed to be lava until someone explicitly states that it's not. Now that that's been done, there's no issue. Just because speculation later turns out to be accurate doesn't mean it wasn't speculation at the time. <span style="white-space:nowrap">&ndash; <span style="color:royalblue; font-size:130%; font-family:Vladimir Script, serif">Robin Hood</span>&ensp;(talk)</span> 15:37, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
