The purpose of this page is to document some aspects of Skyrim that are specific to the '''Nintendo Switch''' version of the game. The vast majority of gameplay is identical on all platforms (PC, Xbox, PlayStation, or Switch): the quests are the same, the [[Skyrim:Glitches|glitches]] are the same with exception to lag issues being less prevalent on PC.
 
The Nintendo Switch version of [[Skyrim:Skyrim|Skyrim]] is expected to be released in fallNovember 17, 2017, and will includewith all DLC included.

==Amiibo==
One unique feature to the Nintendo Switch version of the game is compatibility with Nintendo's "Amiiboamiibo" figures: once daily you can tap your Amiibo figures the Switch for a treasure chest of items to appear in-game.
 
While any compatible Amiibo will yield a chest full of items, the chest summoned by Legend of Zelda figures - including the Breath of the Wild series, 30th Anniversary series, Super Smash Bros. series, and The Legend of Zelda series - will have a 20% chance of having Zelda-themed item inside, such as the Master Sword, Hylian Shield, and Champion's Tunic. All of which can also be found in a hidden chest on the [[Skyrim:Throat of the World|Throat of the World]]
