Skyrim talk:Sanuarach Mine

easy to crashEdit

This has been marked as a question that needs to be answered.

I have experienced crash when entering and exiting this mine. The first time after finishing the quest of same name and i am entering the mine. And the second time is when i exit the ming when i was doing the quest for the heart of dibella. Anyone know why (Vvardfell 10:34, 2 April 2012 (UTC))

I can confirm game crash happens on patch 1.6.89.0.6. Talk to mine owner to complete mercenary quest and then quickly head back inside the mine. When mercenary NPC uses area transition to Skyrim, game crashes. Workaround is to stay away from the mine until mercenaries are gone. 84.251.33.3 23:33, 5 June 2012 (UTC)JT
Is there a bug related to these NPCs? I just drove them out of Sanuarach mine and, later passed them on the road to Markarth,at Blind Cliff Cave. Game crashed on me as I was passing them. First time I ever crashed in open spaces. Clearskies (talk 01:27, 13 July 2012 (UTC)
Just reloaded a previous game. Waited till the NPCs were gone - and could now pass the mine without crashing. Clearskies (talk 03:07, 13 July 2012 (UTC)

Silver-Blood Mercenaries' weapons not leveled?Edit

Can someone check the CK to see if their weapons/armor should be leveled, I completed the quest at level 49, but they still all had unenchanted iron weapons. Atar's armor is Nordic, but the rest just had Fur. Cheers Biffa (talk) 13:40, 11 October 2013 (GMT)

Atar's leveled, this is his record in CSList. The other mercenaries look very strange. Their race is fox and their class is dremora, presumably the race gets overridden by their template. Hmm, yes. This is their template. Still fox. But it links to this template. Where they become Redguards, looks like. Except that every single one of those templates links on to a bandit template which changes their race to Nords. But more importantly, they all use this list for their weapons. That list varies from iron to elven in quality, it has no enchanted weapons on it.
Regular bandits can have fur armor at very high levels. It's only the bandit bosses like Atar that get Nordic and Steel Plate. The best the regular bandits ever get is Scaled.
I don't know when the mercenaries are generated though. Did you walk past Karthwasten at a lower level? They may have been spawned much earlier than when you fought them. It's also just possible that you got random iron weapons, bandits also have them at high levels (the higher-level bandits have more skill though, so their iron weapons hurt more). --Morrolan (talk) 14:10, 11 October 2013 (GMT)
I hadn't been near Markarth until maybe lvl47, let alone Karthwasten. from what you've put their weapons seem to be random not leveled then. It just seemed to be a ridiculously easy fight. Cheers. Biffa (talk) 23:16, 12 October 2013 (GMT)
Bandits don't level all that well; by the time I'm in the 30s only Marauders, Plunderers & Chiefs pose any challenge to me at all, it's one of the reasons I have so many saved characters in Skyrim. The CSList for the mercs looked like their list didn't go that high as well, probably they can't become equivalent to M/P bandits. --Morrolan (talk) 01:40, 28 October 2013 (GMT)
