The in-game description of restoration says The School of Restoration involves control over life forces. This skill makes it easier to cast spells like Healing, Turn Undead, and magical Wards. Based on this, the name of this page could be changed to Healing, rather than restore health.RIM 17:11, 11 October 2011 (UTC)
- I've never seen this spell called Restore Health, so I moved it. Do we have an actual spell list for known spells? If we do, moving it back is simple enough. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 17:36, 11 October 2011 (UTC)
- This is not a spell page -- it's a page for the magical effect. In other words, for the underlying effect that is common to every healing spell in the game. See Oblivion:Restore Health for comparison -- and note that Oblivion has multiple Spells that restore your health (Heal Minor Wounds, Heal Major Wounds, Heal Greater Wounds) none of which are called 'Restore Health'. --NepheleTalk 22:27, 11 October 2011 (UTC)
- I meant the underlying effect behind a spell. What I meant was that I've never heard the effect being called Restore Health. To be fair, I haven't heard about many effects, actually. Are we basing our information of what magical effects will be available based on what magical effects were in previous games? If so, I agree entirely that it should be moved back. Otherwise, a link would be nice to a source mentioning the effect being called "Restore Health". - I'm basing all the effect names on the assumption that they'll use the same names as in past games (except replacing "Fatigue" with "Stamina"). Restore Health is the name that was used in Oblivion and Morrowind -- it's even the name that was used in Fallout3 -- and I don't see any reason why they would change the name. Actually, having typed that I just realized that Restore Health is perhaps the only magical effect whose name has been confirmed -- the effect name is shown in the demo, when Carrot, Horker Meat, Salmon Meat, etc. are shown in the inventory. --NepheleTalk 22:51, 11 October 2011 (UTC)
