the setstage command can be used do finish this quest, but there is a bug I'm not sure is related. Viramo now always holds a torch (as he was when I used the command) despite being indoors or in daylight

This kind of thing is what happens when you use the console. If it annoys you, reload to a point in time where this doesn't happen. Alternatively, you can try removing any torches from his inventory (requiring a decent pickpocket level). Quest Stage didn't clear even though I started quest firstEdit

Contrary to the comments on the page, the quest stage didn't clear for me even after I was made a full bard's college member, and I started the quest *long* before I ever went to solitude. Does it ever clear properly under any circumstances? Perko 09:15, 22 January 2012 (UTC)
