Missing Husky bug?Edit

When I played the Dawngaurd questline, especially at the final quest, I did not see any husky or any dog besides armored trolls in the battle. This bug persists after finishing dawnguard, only this time there are no huskies found in any part of the fort. Is this a possible bug? I haven't seen any animals besides armored trolls in the expansion.
