Skyrim talk:Fortify Magicka

Moved from articleEdit

Fortifying your magicka with potions does not allow you to cast higher magicka spells, it must be tested if enchantments do.

Can somebody verify this, please? --Xyzzy 06:14, 22 June 2012 (UTC)

It works fine for me and I tested it on the Xbox360. I used a character who has 100 magicka and could not cast a spell that cost 111. After consuming the potion I had made with void salts and ectoplasm my magicka was raised by 19 and I could cast the spell with no problems. — Unsigned comment by 67.193.194.168 (talk) at 04:03 on 9 July 2012

Inifinite CastingEdit

With Fortify Magicka coming from the Gauldur Amulet Fragment and a 1-point enchanted Imperial Bracers, giving me a total of 131 Magicka, I can continue to cast constant-use spells like Flames and Healing even after my Magicka runs out. I don't know if it's that specific amount of Magicka or something to do with the combination of items or what, but unequipping either of them, everything works they way it should. Has anybody else had this happen? Robin Hood  (talk) 23:51, 29 October 2013 (GMT)
