Skyrim talk:Brittleshin Pass

StructureEdit

What is the best structure for this trio of pages that are all basically the same place: Skyrim:Brittleshin Pass, Skyrim:South Brittleshin Pass, Skyrim:North Brittleshin Pass--Bwross 06:19, 5 December 2011 (UTC)

Maybe a reasonable solution would be to retain (and possibly expand) the notes regarding the two entrances on the main page, then redirect both North and South to point to Brittleshin Pass? -WalB 14:44, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
Yes, since the entrance articles contain next to no content, merging them into this page and replacing them with redirects seems to be a good idea. --Alfwyn 15:04, 15 December 2011 (UTC)

Spellcaster trapEdit

The article contains a rather lengthy description of a Spellcaster Trap. This seems excessive for a non-unique feature. Should it be removed? --Xyzzy 04:10, 12 May 2012 (UTC)

I went ahead and removed it, since shortening it to "There is a Spellcaster Trap somewhere in the tunnel" is not all that helpful. When the article is fleshed out more, it should be included as a brief note/link within the walkthrough, which shouldn't be difficult, since the place is so small. ABCface 04:29, 12 May 2012 (UTC)
ABCface I'm wondering if the spellcaster trap should be added back into the page. This trap is actually unique as it ALWAYS fires an Icy Spear spell which means at lower levels it is capable of nearly instakilling players. I've tested this multiple times now with multiple characters and a variety of levels and this is a definite. It wouldn't be as notable if it fired a leveled spell but the fact that it is firing an expert level spell at all levels makes it worth noting. Lord Eydvar Talk|Contribs 04:29, 6 November 2012 (GMT)
Adding it back wouldn't be a problem, as long as it is 1) more specific, location-wise, and 2) succinct. As it was, it didn't really say where the trap was, and the explanation was longer than necessary. Adding it back after shortening it and adding a general location would be fine. — ABCface 04:41, 6 November 2012 (GMT)
Ok I can do that... the location is pretty noticeable rofl... right down the stairs by the North entrance. Lord Eydvar Talk|Contribs 04:42, 6 November 2012 (GMT)
The page says that the Spellcaster Trap has a filled Petty Soul Gem, but I went in at level 26 and it was a Lesser Soul Gem. Could the Soul Gem be random or leveled to the character? Chocoholic (talk) 10:12, 12 June 2015 (UTC)
I didn't get a spellcaster trap at all. I entered through the North with Aela (blech) in tow while doing one of the Totem quests. There was no spellcaster trap, but there was a Frost Rune on the floor of the southernmost chamber. Valeria (talk) 00:57, 1 September 2019 (UTC)

Meridia's BeaconEdit

Meridia's Beacon quest led me here. The location may be radiant but I haven't checked. Funny how the map shows the location is cleared when I still had 2 more skeletons waiting for me! 71.132.198.190 22:00, 10 June 2012 (UTC)

Dungeons are marked as cleared when you kill the boss. In this case that's the necromancer who's in the middle of the map. The location of Meridia's Beacon is indeed radiant. --Morrolan (talk) 14:37, 1 October 2013 (GMT)

Gems in eyes of face!Edit

as you enter, theres a face up high on the wall. The eyes are gems. you can use a bow to knock them down.  :D — Unsigned comment by 67.164.33.239 (talk) at 19:51 on 23 October 2012

Good catch! I'll add that to the notes. In future, feel free to add that kind of information yourself. Robin Hoodtalk 20:22, 23 October 2012 (GMT)

Am I blind?Edit

Can't find any of the three Corundum ore veins??? Biffa (talk) 08:58, 19 September 2013 (GMT)

Click the map link and zoom in once. One is to the west and the other 2 are to the east, below the exit to Bleak Falls. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 13:17, 1 October 2013 (GMT)
