Skyrim talk:Absorb Health
Does Absorb Health deal extra damage?Edit
Let's say I have a sword with 20 damage and 10 absorb health. Will the sword deal 20 or 30 damage to the enemy? Aroddo 17:25, 18 December 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, it will deal a total of 30. 209.66.120.3 00:22, 21 December 2011 (UTC)

Should Ebony Blade be on this page? — Unsigned comment by The Silencer (talk • contribs) at 01:30 on 5 March 2012
- My opinion is yes it should be listed under the artifacts that have an Absorb Health effect. I will add it unless someone objects. Lord EydvarTalk 02:14, 5 March 2012 (UTC)
Does Absorb Health scale with difficulty?Edit
My weapon has 20 absorb health, and I play on Master, so will it only absorb 10? Just want to make sure.--71.202.138.39 03:27, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
Fixed Location?Edit
Broken Fang Cave, just slightly west of Sleeping Tree Camp in Whiterun hold, in the back room on the enchanting table I found a steel sword of Absorb Health. If this is a fixed location can it be mentioned on this page?--67.185.108.121 03:22, 6 February 2013 (GMT) Edit: This varies. It's random you will get a good Spelled Sword but it may be Shock (or something else) instead. It's a shame :(
Not actually available at "beginning" of game.Edit
Absorb health is actually only available on the leveled list at level 7 - which is a short distance for most but if you go enchanting first you won't actually find this enchant available before then. 66.190.234.214 05:21, 12 January 2014 (GMT)SomGuy
Absorb Health and Frost Damage BugEdit
If you combine Absorb Health with Frost Damage in a weapon the charge count indicated at the enchanting altar will be wrong. The weapon will have fewer actual charges then indicated. This gets worse when using a fortify enchanting potion. For instance a potion with x% increase will cause the weapon to burn through the charge in well under the stated number of hits. 72.66.107.212 15:21, 12 February 2014 (GMT)
