Silana Petreia

Silana Petreia is an Imperial priestess who lives and works in Solitude at the Temple of the Divines. She can be found wandering around Solitude or in the Temple. She wears hooded monk robes and a pair of boots. She wields an iron dagger and carries some common items and gold.

Silana starts her day by waking up at 6am and leaving the temple to go on a relaxing stroll through Solitude. She will head to Angeline's Aromatics and stand outside the store for the next three hours to watch the sunrise. At 9am, she will make her way back to the temple where she will perform her duties as a minister. She will be found standing near the various shrines inside the temple for the next five hours. At 2pm, she will leave the temple again, this time to head to the Solitude marketplace to shop at the various market stalls for the next three hours. Once she has finished shopping, she will head back to the temple and will continue to perform her duties until midnight. After a busy day of working at the temple, Silana will head upstairs and sleep in one of the beds for the next six hours. The only exception to this schedule is when she attends Roggvir's execution when you first enter Solitude.

DialogueEdit

Silana seems to be very devout, and this can be seen in her greetings:

"The Divines saved me from the streets, and they can save you from your trials, as well."

"May the Divines guide and keep you."

"May you be saved by the Divines, as I once was."

Inside of the temple, she may also greet you by saying:

"Blessings to you. The Divines are listening."

She can also greet you with prayer lines she shares with her fellow priests and Greta:

"Let us walk in the steps of the Divines."

"Remind us of our place, when we forget."

"May knowledge of your Divinity carry us through our daily trials."

When exiting dialogue she can say:

"The Temple of Divines is always open for worshipers."

"Take care, and go with the blessings of the Eight." (If the city is under Imperial control)

"Take care, and go with the blessings of the Nine." (If the city is under Stormcloak control)

When Roggvir is executed, she whispers:

"Talos protect you."

ConversationsEdit

Inside of the temple, she can often be seen conversing with her fellow faithful:

Silana: "Mistress, a word?"

Freir: "Certainly, acolyte. What troubles you?"

Silana: "I know you and father Rorlund have many duties to attend to in the temple, but sometimes I feel that there are more important matters to attend to."

Freir: "What could be more important than hearing the prayers of the faithful, and answering the questions of the dedicated?"

Silana: "Mistress, the people of Solitude are destitute. Many are starving and desperate for work. We need to be more active, to reach out to them."

Freir: "We took you in, didn't we? We would be glad to extend our welcome to any other who showed your dedication. What more could we do?"

Silana: "I know, and I appreciate it dearly. But I can't help but feel we could be doing more..."

Freir: "Kynareth has blessed you with tremendous compassion, Silana. You will find a way, I'm sure of it."

Rorlund: "Silana, you don't seem yourself. Is something the matter?"

Silana: "Oh, yes sir. I feel many of Solitude's families are having trouble getting by, and the wealthy do nothing to help them!"

Rorlund: "Your compassion is admirable, but you see, we cannot help them all. The poor must learn from the examples of the gods and raise themselves up."

Silana: "I respectfully disagree, sir. Stendarr and Zenithar may demand strength from them, but Mara and Dibella demand compassion from us."

Rorlund: "I see you have meditated on this subject quite thoroughly. I shall not stop you, but please, try to attend to your temple duties as well."

Silana can also be found conversing with the vendors at the marketplace:

Silana: "Are your sales going well?" or "I hope the Divines have been keeping you well."

Evette: "Not too bad. A few of the guests from the upcoming wedding have placed orders." or "They seem to when you're around Silana."

Silana: "It should be quite the affair. Nice to have something happy in the midst of the war." or "Vittoria is practically glowing."

Jala: "Hello, Silana. Would you like an apple? Free of charge for you."

Silana: "That's generous, Jala, but I am happy to pay my way."

This scene is actually bugged, and might play out between Silana and Jala, but never with Addvar.

Silana: "Fresh fish sounds like just the thing today, Addvar."

Addvar: "I've been pushing the Salmon but I'll tell you the Slaughterfish is a bit better today."

Silana: "Thank you, Addvar, I am picky about what I eat these days."
