Ancestor Ghost

The Ancestor Ghost is a ghostly draugr that can be conjured with any Staff of Ancestors/the Forefathers. It comes in all kinds of leveled varieties depending on the staff used to summon it, as it uses the common draugr types as a template to draw stats from.

Staff of AncestorsEdit

A Staff of Ancestors will summon a leveled Ancestor Ghost, which is drawn from a list used to spawn draugr seen throughout Skyrim. Therefore each entry has a random 16.6% chance to be summoned starting from level 40.

The type of staff determines which type of draugr is summoned. The dreugh and silver staves will always summon a melee fighter, the steel staff always an archer, and the wooden staves always a mage. The glass staff draws from a mixed leveled list and so can summon any type, though its mage version won't have any spells.

Note that there is no specific mage Draugr Deathlord, which means the wooden staves cannot summon the level 30 variety, leaving a 25% chance for each of the level 1, 6, 13 and 21 versions to be summoned at level 21 and above. This also puts the glass staff at a slight disadvantage over the rest, as it may summon a mage like the wooden staves do.

Staff of the ForefathersEdit

The daedric and ebony staves are instead named Staff of the Forefathers, and they summon an Ancestor Ghost based on the boss variety of the regular draugr. They will always summon the most powerful version available at your level.
