Shivering talk:Thadon

Thadon modelled on Ken KeyseyEdit

Thadon and his band of acolytes seem to have a parallel with the 60s LDS guru Ken Keysey and the Merry Pranksters - at least as I remember them from reading a book on the subject. Fairly obvious perhaps, is it worth putting in as a trivia point? - Mash — Unsigned comment by 86.16.190.161 (talk) at 12:55 on 17 June 2007 (GMT)

RobesEdit

Can you get his robes using the console? 24.23.230.168 19:49, 25 May 2008 (EDT)

Yup. player.additem 73904,1 should do it, but they're not marked as "playable" so you won't be able to wear them or even see them in your inventory. They'll just add to your encumbrance. –RpehTCE 06:24, 26 May 2008 (EDT)
Odd, I play on the 360 and when I kill him with the overdose of Greenmote I can take his robes (Ritua of Mania quest I believe). Every single time I do that quest I can take them. So, when he dies of the overdose he is wearing the robe and you can take them. "Thadon wears a unique robe called "Thadon's Robes." The robes cannot be looted from his corpse." is this wrong then? Or is it me only for some odd reason? --W27Y 00:47, 30 July 2008 (EDT)

Sometimes?Edit

I think there should be more information than this, at least denoted by a asterisk.-Puddle 20:11, 25 May 2008 (EDT)

There's a link to the Essential NPCs list on which you can find more information. Spelling it out in the infobox would be a bit much. –RpehTCE 06:24, 26 May 2008 (EDT)

ClassEdit

His class seems a bit ironic, being if you kill him during the ritual of mania quest, he never becomes a preist of order.--Arch-Mage Matt 23:11, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

Dancing?Edit

Ok, I know he paints, but did anyone else catch him dancing in the morning before painting at 9? I think he does the same moves as the Dancer you get. --Sencilia 08:50, 18 November 2009 (UTC)

Seriously? That sounds funny. if you are on PC, try to get a screenshot of him. But I havn't seen that. Are you on PC? You may have a mod.--Arch-Mage Matt 02:53, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
No, I'm on the PS3 PAL GOTY edition. All I know is he did it before 9 am. I've only seen him do it once. I saw him do it when I was up to the part where I poison his meal later that day. Sorry if that doesn't make sense --Sencilia 02:31, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
Where did you catch him? I think I will look at this.--Arch-Mage Matt 02:41, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
In the garden where he paints, a few meters away from his painting. In a corner near some bottles of alcohol I think. --Sencilia 03:51, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
I just checked and it is true. I still need to check how long he does it for but he is certainly dancing lol --Kri-Dar 17:04, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
I checked him as well and couldn't make him dance. If you can write down some specifics (like time a day, where in the main quest line ect ect), I would be most grateful! -- Krusty 17:08, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

() When I checked it was 8am and he stopped at 9am. I do not think the quest line has anything to do with it. I believe it is just part of his schedule and no one has ever noticed.--Kri-Dar 17:44, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

I just checked again and he starts dancing a 7am.--Kri-Dar 17:53, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
Gotcha. I'll take a look tomorrow. :) -- Krusty 22:33, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
yeah i caught him dancing to and was tottaly frecked out! (sorry about the spelling!) — Unsigned comment by 142.68.116.174 (talk) on 28 February 2010
Yup, he is set to dance between 6am and 9am in the Gardens. --SerCenKing Talk 19:14, 3 March 2010 (UTC)

Lay-outEdit

Heya there, can someone please edit the Notes section so that it looks professional with the links? I'm sorry for this, but I'm a lay-out noob. The information on it was added by me as well. Thanks in advance. ^^ — Unsigned comment by 84.24.179.51 (talk) at 09:52 on 4 August 2010 (GMT)

EponymousEdit

Should we say Thadon wears his eponymous robe? Makes more sense to me... DRAGON GUARD(TALK) 19:23, 30 September 2015 (UTC)

I don't think so, because it's just a robe: There's nothing really special about it other than it being unique to Thadon. I don't think the name of it really matters in this case. •WoahBro►talk 20:53, 30 September 2015 (UTC)
Okay - have it your way. I suppose it doesn't really matter after all. Because I've changed my mind and agree with you that I want it to not say its his eponymous robe, can I edit Miraak's Skyrim article in a way so that we can secure the fact NPC articles don't state that they have an eponymous item in their possession for readers? DRAGON GUARD(TALK) 21:06, 30 September 2015 (UTC)
Eponymous means that the object referred to gets its name from its owner. So it is correct both here. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 20:10, 3 October 2015 (UTC)
Should one of us re-add the eponymous part back to Thadon's article? DRAGON GUARD(TALK) 20:15, 3 October 2015 (UTC)
