UndyingEdit

What happens if i kill all the Saints and Seducers? --Baconator96 20:15, 13 August 2008 (EDT)

Umm, then there won't be any guards left? What do you expect will happen? That's like saying 'what happens if I kill all the deer in the game' or 'what happens if I pick up all the pewter cups in the game". Well they're all dead. Congratulations, what were you expecting? --Saruuk 01:46, 4 July 2008 (EDT)
i was asking if they respawn or not. and if they DO, is my bounty still active? --Baconator96 20:15, 13 August 2008 (EDT)
They do respawn since Saints and Seducers are Daedra; immortal. That's why the Saints always look down on all citizens of SI including you until you become their lord. "Quickly mortal!" But the named Saints or Seducers if no longer considered essential will not respawn. I don't know about the bounty; perhaps I will try this myself and let you know. Killing all of them is impossible though, since you never get to access both keeps. (Sanctuary, main base, or whatever you call them.)--Webdemon00 23:41, 29 August 2008 (EDT)
Webdemon00 is correct, since you can't access both of the keeps you technically never kill all of the Golden Saints/Dark Seducers.)--BethBear 11:27, 1 January 2009 (EDT)

No More Jailtime?Edit

An additional option will be added, in place of "Go to Jail"

Does it actually replace the "Go to Jail" option, or is this poorly worded? --Debatra 03:53, 7 July 2008 (EDT)

it does and pay fine is changed to pay reperationsA Giant Fishy 13:30, 18 July 2008 (EDT)

ChangeEdit

As soon as I became the Madgod, I felt it needed to introduce 'change' in my realm. I killed everyone I felt I didn't like or particularly needed, including the guards who attempted to stop my changes. At last, when my realm was once more perfected, I gave in. I went with a guard. My bounty remained. I could not pay the fine (The guard said "Usually I would allow you to pay reperations, but the peace of the realm requires I escort you away.") or discover any way to, even going to the jail myself. Is there anyway to get rid of this outrageous bounty? --M'aiq the Liar 03:15, 29 August 2008 (EDT)

Nope, you can no longer pay your bounty after you finish the main quest. At least that's what I've read on this site. I know what you mean though, like every other quest in the game; once you complete it, all the NPCs that seemed so alive and unique, suddenly become a dummy with only 1 dialog. E.g. Blades, Fighters Guild, Mages Guild, etc. Especially with SI. "Defend the Realm." Well, if you don't ask Haskil about it while you are inside the palace, it's all peaceful, but if you ask; you spawn the monsters and they kill your subjects in various settlements. But essentially, it's you who's killing them. And even if everyone dies, you get a reward "Your subjects sent this as a token of their gratitude. Well done my Lord." What subjects? Everyone is dead. If you are simply bored; go and fight the Gatekeeper, it's tagged essential so you can't kill it and you won't get a bounty.Webdemon00 00:03, 30 August 2008 (EDT)
Yes, fighting the GateKeeper is a great source of fun. I do feel your pain with the whole bounty thing. I didn't kill anyone because, why would I kill my own subjects? If you're really bored, take a hike to Mount Sheogorath. --Oblivion nerd 21:21, 20 January 2009 (EST)

mabye your bontie has to be lower? because it's really weird cause sometimes the GSorDS will say i can pay the bontie but other times they'll say i can't pay the bountie mabie somebody with the consurtion set could cheak it outGUM!!! 13:31, 16 March 2010 (UTC)

Crime in the FringeEdit

I think it should be noted the differences if you commit a crime in the Fringe during the initial bit of the questline. I happened to murder the Orc Adventurer Captain in the Fringe, and to my surprise the Golden Saint Aurar;alfdkjsdl;kfsjd came running out from the Gate of Mania. She said something along the lines of "The Fringe is outside of Sheogorath's blessing, but not his justice." She then proceeded to only give me the option of "Resist Arrest", forcing me into a long and arduous fight that only gave me an even higher bounty. This might be useful to add to the article, as it came as a surprise to me. Also, I noted that when I paid off the bounty to one of the wandering Dark Seducer patrols, I got sent straight to New Sheoth, without that long walk to get there. Possibly quite handy. Pardon me if this is already written somewhere. — Unsigned comment by 68.47.46.143 (talk) on 21 July 2009

The exact quote is "The Fringe is outside Lord Sheogorath's mercy... but not his justice.". It needs some checking to see what options are available at what times. –rpehTCE 07:23, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
I too have been given this option. Resist arrest is the only option available which gives you a higher bounty. Once you've dealt with the guard and the gatekeeper, the next guard you see will send you straight to New Sheoth. Eliminating the long and rather tedious walk. --KizC 20:28, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
I checked the CS and there is a specific dialog for when arrested in the Fringe, as seen above. The debug text says specifically to avoid being arrested in the Fringe. It indeed has only 1 option in it's path, Resist Arrest. The only important bounds are that the player has a greater bounty than 0, and that the player is in the Fringe (or the Ordered Fringe). Also checks if NPC is female, a guard and in faction SEGuards. I suppose because there are no jails in the Fringe, that the player would be taken to the Isles if arrested? Maybe I'll try the command to go to jail...
I went into the Fringe and used gotojail and.....nothing. It did absolutely nothing. Kinda disappointing really. That's why they don't allow it I suppose, since that's the script that they use in guard dialog.
So to wrap up, you can never go to jail from the Fringe, or pay it off, you can only fight. This is because the Fringe does not have a jail. Both Saints and Seducers can do this. --DKong27 Tk Ctr Em 01:46, 7 September 2011 (UTC)

Becoming the Madgod Clears Your SI Bounty?Edit

I just noticed that a small Shivering Isles bounty I had (40 gold from some unknown offense) was cleared during the quest The Prince of Madness when I spoke with Haskill. Has anyone else had a pre-Madgod, Shivering Isles bounty cleared like that? FWIW, my game was on a PS3, GOTY edition. Oblivoid 19:10, 2 February 2010 (UTC)

bounty in cyrodillEdit

does your bounty in Cyrodill effects your bounty in Shivering Isles (or vice versa)? while i was wearing Nocturnal's Cowl a Dark Seducer tried to arrest me, is it only about the gray fox or my bounty in Cyrodill still the same in SI? so i was wandering what if i commit crime in SI, would it effect my bounty in Cyrodill? Magicovento 01:34, 12 August 2010 (UTC)

Your bounty is Cyrodiil is separate from your bounty in SI. --Darkle ~ Talk 01:35, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
