Shivering talk:Brithaur (person)

Steals things from youEdit

Does this character, or any other character, have the ability to steal items from you, such as boots, rings, etc. without the game telling you about it? Some of my items have recently gone missing from my inventory, and I can't think of any reason why this would happen. I know for sure that I did not drop the items or put them in a container. Maybe the construction set would provide some answers...I'll check it out on there if no one else has encountered this in the Shivering Isles. -- OranL 16:16, 19 April 2008 (EDT)

Sounds like a glitch of some sort, I can't think of any incidents where an NPC has pickpocketed the players inventory. --Volanaro 16:19, 19 April 2008 (EDT)
This is happening on the 360 version, by the way. -- OranL 16:29, 19 April 2008 (EDT)

Happened to me with the Skeleton Key In Cyrodiil. When I turned level 18-19 it happened. I went to pick a lock and it was gone. Its on the 360.

I believe this is possible because if you have taken a stolen item in a responsible Npc's presence, they will remove it and any other stolen items from your inventory so this effect is definitely possible. Not so sure about not telling you. That has happened to me before though, a small glitch. --M'aiq the Liar 20:56, 12 September 2008 (EDT)

Brithaur's odd deathEdit

Moved from Shivering:Glitches:
Once Brithaur has been reported to Kithlan for thievery (assuming the player is Duke/Duchess/Sheogorath) he will promptly disappear, then some time later, he suddenly appears in Crucible, only to crumple to the ground dead. His tombstone will then appear at the New Sheoth Graveyard.

Needs to be looked into, and can then be placed on this article. --Timenn-<talk> 12:47, 8 October 2009 (UTC)

PickpocketEdit

can you pickpocket brither and give it to earl and still finish the quest or you have to kill him in order to get the heart--Stealthilizer 14:20, 25 May 2010 (UTC)

yeah i'm pretty sure that you have to kill him to get the heart--GUM!!! 14:35, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
Confirmed. It's marked in the Construction Set as a "Death Item" which, as you can probably guess from the name, will only appear in his inventory after you've killed him. Robin HoodTalk 16:37, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
