Adeo

Adeo is a Dark Seducer Captain who will assist you in retaking Pinnacle Rock from the Forces of Order. She is disabled until The Helpless Army is initiated.

She wears a leveled suit of full Dark Seducer armor and wields a leveled Dark Seducer weapon (both always strongest possible for Adeo's level). In addition, she will also be able to cast a set of standard Dark Seducer spells.

During your conversation with Sheogorath right after Rebuilding the Gatekeeper, a Dark Seducer Messenger will come rushing in, shouting: "Lord Sheogorath! I apologize for the intrusion, but you must help us! Order has attacked Pinnacle Rock and routed us!" When you approach the Messenger, asking him who he is, he will tell you about Adeo and the newly invaded Pinnacle Rock; "Adeo sent me as a messenger to find you. Pinnacle Rock is under attack, and she needs your assistance at once! The forces of Order have overwhelmed us, and forced us from the stronghold. We must regain control!" If you ask what you're supposed to do, he will just say: "Our stronghold at Pinnacle Rock is under attack! The forces of Order broke in and routed us! You must go to Adeo at once and aid her!" Finally, he will elaborate on Adeo and the situation: "She is leading what is left of our forces. She waits for you outside Pinnacle Rock. Please hurry to her before it is too late."

Adeo will wander around the entrance of Pinnacle Rock, guarding it from further enemy troops and awaiting your arrival. Once you appear, she will immediately enter conversation with you. "Thank you for coming. I apologize for summoning you. The blame is mine. We've lost control of Pinnacle Rock. Syl let them in... We had no idea she would turn on us. They captured our commander, Dylora, and have her imprisoned somewhere inside. Our first priority must be rescuing her." Unfortunately, she is unsure of Dylora's location: "Syl had called her aside, separating her from the group. She meant to divide our numbers when Order entered, making us easier targets. They imprisoned Dylora somewhere within Pinnacle Rock. If they killed her, she could return to us, so they keep her hostage. If we follow the waters of the Wellspring, we will surely find her." When you ask her about the number of enemies within Pinnacle Rock, she will say: "Syl let them in. More than I could count. It was all we could do to fall back and regroup out here. We must free Dylora as soon as possible. She will know what to do." Once you take command, she'll show her reluctance by saying: "Forgive me for saying so, Your Grace, but I find taking orders from the Duke/Duchess of Mania to be... unsettling. You are the only remaining Duke/Duchess, which is a situation quite unprecedented. Normally, you would never be permitted to pass within Pinnacle Rock. Given the need for swift action, the normal customs shall need to be overlooked for now. We shall be right behind you, Your Grace."

With the words "We must find Dylora and free her!", she will then follow you through the ruins and help you fight the Knights and Priests of Order until you successfully rescue her commander, Dylora from her prison in Pinnacle Rock, Hall of Reverence. On Dylora's command, she will follow you into the Hall of Devotion, where she immediately falls to the ground, petrified due to the Wellspring being shut off by the Forces of Order. When you break the seal and let the waters flow again, she will join you in the final battle near the Font of Rebirth. After the quest, she will wander around near the Font indefinitely.

  • Between Stages 10 and 30 of the quest, Adeo was supposed to have a "Dylora" topic and she would have said: "She is our commander. She leads us. Without her, we are at a loss. I have done what I can to take her place, but I know I am insufficient. Order has kept her hostage so that she cannot return to us and lead us. If we can free her, she may know how best to defeat them." However, her greeting takes precedence and since it will always end the conversation, the line is never heard.
