runestone tableEdit

The runestone table on this page was incomplete and isn't where we look for crafting materials lists for the other crafting professions. I removed this table in favor of the Online:Runestones page. Should there be a more obvious link to the materials pages on the various crafting skills pages? --Swordmage (talk) 07:33, 23 March 2014 (GMT)

Using glyphs to enchant armorEdit

When you use a glyph to enchant a piece of armor, the strength of the enchantment is reduced if it is applied to a piece of armor other than (I think) chest and leg armor, though I'm not sure what the percentage is. Should this information be included in this article? A semi-thorough search of the site didn't turn up this info. --Xyzzy Talk 05:49, 3 August 2014 (GMT)

I checked another site, and it says that the full effect will be applied to head, chest, legs, and shield, while the reduced effect (they say about 40%) will be applied to hands, feet, shoulders, and waist. This needs to be verified before it is included in one of our articles. --Xyzzy Talk 05:52, 3 August 2014 (GMT)
Testing this myself with a glyph that states that it will increase Health by 33 resulted in an increase of 13 when applied to shoulder armor (39.39%). --Xyzzy Talk 05:56, 3 August 2014 (GMT)

In literatureEdit

There is a book, Words and Power by Telenger the Artificer that basically discusses how Enchanting works (in Online). Even encourages students to repeat words to truly master them (i.e. crafting glyphs over and over) or deconstrocting glyphs created by other students (which gives significantly more inspiration than deconstructing one's own glyphs). Not sure if this counts as trivia or whatever. Howellq (talk) 19:17, 8 August 2020 (UTC)
