If spoken to before gathering the ash:
- "Good journey to you, warrior. I thank the Divines for sending you to me. Hasten to Lake Rumare and gather Red Mountain Ash. Return as soon as you can. Beware others who also seek the ash. Slay them to ease your task."
- What else can you tell me about Nirnroot wine?
- "Much I do know but little will I tell. Secrecy is a sad necessity, for the envious yearn to steal the recipe for the most exquisite of wines. My customers must be spared from the imitations brewed by charlatans."
- Who are these charlatans?
- "Their names would soil your ears, wayfarer, and I will not utter them. Know only that their intent is dishonorable, stealing the recipe for this finest of wines from its rightful owner. Their wines are pale imitations of the one true Nirnroot wine."
- What does Nirnroot wine taste like?
- "Some say it tastes like the blessed tears of Zeht, if one can imagine those upon one's tongue. Some say the taste cannot be described, only experienced. I merely pass along the words of others, as I never sample my wares."
Once you return:
- "My heart lightens to see you again, friend. How did you fare?"
- I have the ash you wanted.
- "Zeht's blessings upon you! Soon Nirnroot wine shall fill my casks and customers will flock to my brewery again.
