Update 39 is the thirty-ninth major update patch for The Elder Scrolls Online, and will introduce long-awaited improvements to the base game. This includes the premade group finder, updating decade-old NPC outfits with newer costumes, or an all-in-one attunable set-crafting station, and there won't be any dungeons in this update.[1] Consoles will receive Japanese language support with this update.[2] A preview will be shown on ESO Live on July 10.[3] It became available on the PC/Mac Public Test Server (PTS) on July 10, 2023. It will be the first major update since Homestead to not add a new DLC. It arrived on the PC/Mac live server on August 21, 2023.
