The Runt is a wolf pup found in the Howling Sepulchers, on the rise to the left of the creek. It is being harassed by hungry harpies, which intend to eat the pup.
If you kill the attackers, the pup will lead you to its mother, Shayla, who will dig up a chest for you to open. The Runt will only stop along the path to Shayla if there are harpies in the way. When you kill the harpies, the cub will continue leading you.

- The Runt's pathing has a chance of breaking when getting to the rise leading to the den, resulting in the chest being automatically dug up but once lockpicked, it cannot be opened to be looted. ?
