Rexus is a dog owned by Geilund and Halmaera who can be found outside Halmaera's House. If you use the dog whistle given to you by Halmaera, Rexus will appear and lead you to Geilund.
After completing the quest, he will appear near the house. Later on, he can be seen with Geilund and Halmaera at the village, and he will be evacuated to Bal Foyen together with them. Rexus follows his family to Dhalmora and Ebonheart.

Lost on BleakrockEdit
You can interact with Rexus at various points on Bleakrock. When you first call and pet him while rescuing Geilund:
- <Rexus bounces back and forth under your hand. He looks like he wants you to follow.>
- I should see where he wants to go.
Interacting after he brings you to Geilund:
- <Rexus barks excitedly.>
Interacting after rescuing Geilund:
- <Rexus wags his tail happily.>
Sparking the FlameEdit
After you rescue the Earth-Turner family, he can be found at Last Rest with his owners:
- <Rexus whines sadly at the smell of smoke and the stench of death.>
The Missing of BleakrockEdit
If you helped Rexus' family, both he and his owners will be at the town square listening to the evacuation plans after the quest is completed.
Escape from BleakrockEdit
After you disable the traps in Last Rest, he will be among the refugees to cross safely. Once you land in Bal Foyen, he can be found next to his owners.
If By SeaEdit
After examining the watchtower, he will relocate to the keep at Fort Zeren with his owners.
Zeren in PerilEdit
After you defeat the Covenant forces at Fort Zeren, Rexus will be outside the keep with his owners.
StonefallsEdit
Davon's WatchEdit
Rexus and his family are attending the funeral procession for those lost at the docks while you were helping to hold down the fort. Rexus will try to comfort Aera Earth-Turner as she mourns her loss.
EbonheartEdit
Rexus will be at the camp with the other Bleakrock survivors on the east side of the Ebonheart Unified Metalworks, just outside the city walls. He will not stray far from Aera Earth-Turner.
KragenmoorEdit
Rexus will watch over Aera by a tree located east of the wayshrine, behind the Vanguard Captain who is berating his soldiers.
NotesEdit
- If you evacuate before completing Lost on Bleakrock, Rexus will appear alone at the docks of Bal Foyen.
