Murkmire Teaser Event

Get a preview of the upcoming Murkmire DLC with an exciting new teaser, now available to test on the PTS. You can start this quest by finding the NPC Concordia Mercius outside the cities of Daggerfall, Vulkhel Guard, or Davon's Watch, or by simply obtaining the leaflet "Cyrodilic Collections Needs You" from the Featured section of the Crown Store. This event features more than just a single quest and includes the following:

  • Two full-length Story Quests featuring new characters, new monsters, new Quest Rewards, and a new Murkmire-themed island, all ready for exploration.
  • A complete set of Daily Quests with their own Quest Rewards and Achievements, including the chance to get a brand new Murkmire pet.
    • Each Daily Quest can be completed once each day.
    • You can earn Daily Rewards and Achievement progress for each completion.
    • The luminescent Swamp Jelly Pet can be obtained by acquiring the seven parts of its Runebox and combining them.
      • These Runebox Fragments can be obtained by completing daily quests for the Cyrodilic Collections company in Shadowfen, unlocked after completing the quest "The Cursed Skull".
    • The death-defying Murkmire Grave Stake Memento can be acquired by completing the quest "The Cursed Skull".
      • The quest "The Cursed Skull" is unlocked by completing the quest "Ruthless Competition", a new quest that can be found by talking to Concordia Mercius. She can be found in Shadowfen, Auridon, Glenumbra, or Stonefalls.

Exploration & ItemizationEdit

Witches Festival

  • Updated the contents of Plunder Skulls based on feedback from last week's PTS patch.
    • Greatly expanded the number of furnishings that can come from a Plunder Skull; there are now numerous mushrooms, gravestones, and other dreadful furnishings to obtain.
      • As a result, you should find bundles of sticks far less often than in times past.
    • Added a hand-selected variety of Alchemy ingredients to the Plunder Skulls. Now you can find various reagents that a witch might find useful: Nightshade, Stinkhorn, Nirnroot, Fleshfly Larva, Beetle Scuttle, Blue Enteloma, Emetic Russula, Imp Stool, and Namira's Rot, all join the Spider Eggs that could already be found in Plunder Skulls.
    • Added over a dozen Furniture Recipes to the Plunder Skulls, including (very rarely!) the Blueprints for Coffin Cases and Coffin Lids.
    • To help increase the variety of items found in Plunder Skulls, we've introduced a selection of Treasures that a witch might store in her spare Plunder Skulls, and that an adventurer might sell for a tidy sum.
      • These can range from common green-quality Treasures, up through purple-quality valuables.
      • All Treasures found in Plunder Skulls come pre-laundered: no authority in Tamriel would care to investigate how these strange items came to be found.
    • Amber Marbles and Warrior's Heart Ashes (the style items for Hollowjack and Dremora styles) are now less common.
    • Added Insect Parts to the possible Baits found in Plunder Skulls.
      • All Plunder Skulls will now always award some amount of either Worms, Crawlers, Guts, or Insect Parts, in addition to their other rewards. (You may want to wash your hands after digging around in a Plunder Skull.)
  • Fixed an issue where some Quest Bosses were not dropping Dremora Plunder Skulls.
