The Painted Eye is a terrorist organization that has overrun Borderwatch in order to take a powerful Ayleid relic and issue an ultimatum to the Ivory Brigade. They work to create a politically autonomous zone on Khenarthi's Roost to build a bastion for their ideal: to finally let mortals govern themselves without any interference from existing governments. They use rather harsh methods, such as taking hostages or murder. They have agents spread throughout the world.
