Before rescuing Iriana and Shamal, he will say:
- "Cursed Sea Drakes, nothing but mean."
He and Estilion also have a conversation about Trelan's condition:
- Othbug: "How's he doing?"
- Estilion: "He'll live, but he won't be swinging a sword anytime soon."
- Othbug: "Stay with him. We may need to move fast if they attack again."
- Othbug: "Trelan is hurt, bad. Now what are we going to do?"
- Estilion: "Nothing. We can't attack a whole camp of Sea Drakes."
- Othbug: "But we can't leave Iriana to those jackals."
After the rescue, he stays with Shamal at the camp and can no longer be talked to. As Trelan and Iriana prepare to head back to the Screaming Mermaid, they talk to Marghrub and Othbug:
- Trelan: "Iriana, we need to go. It's not safe here."
- Iriana: "Fine, you stubborn fool. Marghrub and Othbug, keep an eye on Shamal."
- Marghrub: "You got it, Iriana."
- Othbug: "Don't worry, we'll be ready for them next time."
- Iriana: "Don't stay too long. Meet us back at the tavern."
