Halzom is a Senche-raht noble who can be seen during random encounters across Southern Elsweyr. Halzom's estate was destroyed and his trading fleet was sacked by pirates, so now he's a refugee seeking to leave Southern Elsweyr. He's traveling with his game-warden, Rezzai, and his valet, Fabilius Eto.

When you approach, you can hear Fabilius complaining about the quality of Rezzai's campfire.
- Rezzai: "This isn't a bloody roadside inn, Fabilius. We're refugees. You'll have to make do with what I can scavenge."
- Fabilius Eto: "Pish posh! The master deserves the finest, regardless of our current circumstances!"
You can talk to Halzom.
- "Pirates to the south, raiding this one's galleys for gold. Cultists to the north, burning this one's villa in the name of their forsaken gods. Woe is life in Southern Elsweyr!
We seek refuge in greener pastures, walker. You should as well." - Is there anything I can do to help?
- "Too late, sadly. This one's villa is already burned. His galleons already ravaged and sunk. Only two loyal servants and a handful of possessions remain.
But we will survive. It is the nature of my kind."
If you completed the Southern Elsweyr questline:
- "This one heard that the cultists' leader is dead. May Merrunz spit fire upon his soul for razing this one's villa.
Now that they are gone…perhaps rebuilding this one's home and fleet may once again be possible." - What will you do now?
- "This one has gambled much in life and it has typically turned out well for him, yes? Then again, when he has lost, he has lost much. A home, a fortune.
