DialogueEdit

If you approach Galbenel without speaking, she may mistake you for a troll and say:

"Please don't see me. Please don't see me. Please don't see me."

If you talk to Galbenel first to initiate the quest, she will say:

"By the Eight! I'm so glad to see another living soul!"
You need to get out of here.
"No, no, no! Everyone… everyone who ran, died. Please, let me stay with you. And… and we should look for others. I think I heard other survivors!"
I've cleared the way. You'll be fine. I'll find the others.

If you talk to Galbenel after initiating the quest, she will say:

"By the Eight! I'm so glad to see another living soul!"
I'm alive, and you're going to live too. Make a run for the exit.
"Thank you! Thank you, stranger. I'll go for the exit and see you outside. Good luck!"
Good. I'll see you at the exit.

After finding the other survivors and escaping, she will be waiting for you outside the mine:

"Thank you for saving us! If you hadn't come along… well. I expect I'll wake up screaming for the next few years."
Just glad I could help. Are you going to be all right?
"Don't worry about me. I'll head to Greenhill to recover. Then I'm leaving the March. I'm heading home to Silvenar, where it's nice and safe. Would you tell our boss what happened here? She'll wanna know."
Where can I find her?
"Her name's Kuna, and she keeps an office in Rawl'kha. Tell her I quit. I'll never set foot in a mine ever again, no matter what the paymaster promises! Good luck on the road, traveler!"
Luck to you, too.

Galbenel will then start to move away, heading in the direction of Greenhill before disappearing.

NotesEdit

  • Initiating the quest with Galbenel won't result in her actually becoming your companion as her dialogue might suggest. This also holds true for Kanniz and Eilun.
