It has jet black feathers and red eyes that occasionally glow. The Daemon Chicken occasionally sits down to lay a flaming egg.

- The Daemon Chicken is unique in that it is the only non-combat pet whose name has an exclamation point in it.
- The Daemon Cockerel is a visually similar pet. The Daemon Chicken's crest, tail feathers, and wattle are smaller than the Cockerel's. The chicken is also a hen, and lays eggs: the cockerel does not.
