Crucible Enforcers are Dark Elf foot soldiers who can be found in the Blessed Crucible. They show up during the quest after Talres Voren tries to get you to cheat.

This Breton Enforcer guards the front gate alongside her Orc comrade.

Skills and AbilitiesEdit

Quick Strike

A basic melee attack that does minor physical damage.

Heavy Attack

A heavy melee attack that does moderate physical damage. It can be blocked to set the enemy off balance.

Throw Dagger

The enemy backs away from the player and throws a dagger at the player. This attack Causes snare and bleed if it connects. This attack can be interrupted to set the enemy off balance. The dagger can be blocked to prevent the snare and bleed and reduce the damage done.

Ignite

A combo move that is only performed if Archers, Fire Mages or other fire using enemies (Flame Atronachs, Scamps etc.) are around. The enemy throws a glob of tar under the player's feet as indicated by a red circle. While this does no damage, standing in it will snare the player. The Soldier will call for the other enemy to light the tar (usually accompanied by a voice clip) and the red circle will burn, doing moderate flame damage over time to enemies within the red circle.

Quest-Related EventsEdit

The friendly Orc enforcer at the entrance greets you along with his partner. While not on the quest:

Crucible Enforcer (Orc): "Fresh meat for The Crucible, eh?"

Crucible Enforcer (Breton): "Let's feed 'em to the Durzog!"

Crucible Enforcer (Orc): "Good idea. Get 'em boys!"

While on the related quest, Talres will speak to the Orc enforcer.

Talres Voren: "Ahh, it's good to be back! Guards, would you be so kind as to open the gates? I bring fresh fighters for the games!"

Crucible Enforcer (Orc): "You ain't allowed in here, Talres. You know that."

Talres Voren: "I brought you some new competitors! Surely, you can make an exception. Now, be a good lad and open the gates?"

Crucible Enforcer (Orc): "I'll be the judge of it! Let's see if they've got the right stuff. Durzogs, attack!"

When you've killed the Durzogs, the Orc opens the gate.

Crucible Enforcer (Orc): "Hmph. I guess that'll do. Open the gates!"

The Nord enforcers that appear after battle against the Pack will be cross with you.

Crucible Guardian (Nord): "We don't abide cheaters in the Blessed Crucible! You're gonna pay for that!"

From then on, all Enforcers will be hostile.

Crucible Enforcer (Nord): "We don't abide cheaters in the Blessed Crucible!"
