Once you place the Fathomless Gaze and witness the vision of Clagius Lampronius speaking with Meenai-Shai while the Observer watches:
- Clagius Lampronius: "Quick, cipher. These tomes need to be brought up to the Divinatory Forums. Your master commands it."
After placing the Atlas Obscurum to its pedestal. There is a scene showing the Morbid Observer racing towards Meenai-Shai and Clagius Lampronius, as Meenai-Shai realises his mistake and Clagius gloats to his master Peryite:
- Clagius Lampronius: "The Divinatory Forums are at my fingertips, master Peryite! All that is left is to steal the Atlas!"
After you observe all three figures in the scene, you will learn what happened next. Multitudes of tentacles struck all of them down, including Clagius.
